Where do I start? My first interaction with my nurse, I was crying because of an outside situation, almost in a full-blown panic attack. She took the time to listen without interrupting me and didn't make me feel like I was overreacting. Her soothing and calm demeanor helped me relax and calm down. She was caring, respectful, and just all around amazing.

Unfortunately, I have spent a good amount of time in hospitals, and never have I had a person who has shown that level of care and compassion. In a world that can be so ugly at times, she is a shining light and breath of fresh air. She made my final days at the hospital much more tolerable just by being her.

Thank you for showing compassion to a stranger. I will never forget you.
