Bilen was one of the best nurses that we have encountered while here for Oncology treatment for my young daughter. She recognized my daughter's sadness over the new cancer diagnosis in conjunction with the added dynamics of having just given birth to a new baby. Bilen took the time to talk and listen - she also made my daughter comfortable with her sadness, but later encouraged the use of personal strengths in dealing with treatments. Bilen was diligent and timely in addressing my daughter's pain and anxiety; always showing nothing but concern and patience. She was great at trouble shooting the different medications and options to alleviate the many different symptoms of Chemo. Bilen is such a fantastic role model for other nurses to follow with her attention to detail as well as her caring and loving care compassion. She has certainly fallen into a field that she was meant to be in - and she makes a mean cup of Chai Tea!
