My wife's labor accelerated very quickly, and she ended up giving birth in the car before we could get into the hospital. Billie happened to be walking into work, dropped her things, and ran to help my wife. Billie helped her give birth and then transfer her into a wheelchair. Billie used the vest off her back to wrap our son and keep him warm on the chilly March morning in Wisconsin. I truly cannot express how much it meant to me for Billie to jump into action with zero hesitation and take charge of the situation. Our family will be forever grateful to her.
