Billie Jo Mitchell, BSN, RN

I am incarcerated and have been to this hospital 3 times since my incarceration. This nurse has been the first to treat me like a human being, regardless of my circumstances. She took the time to explain everything to me in detail. She actually held my hand while I got a central line put in, and it had me freaking out. She is very sweet and compassionate in what she does, and it shows by how she treats her patients. She made sure I received quality care, and she advocated for me to ensure I received everything I needed during my stay while under her care. I asked one million questions, and she never got angry or frustrated she just took the time to research if she did not know and came back with an answer. She is an example of what an awesome nurse is, and I refuse to go back to jail without telling of how good Mrs. Billie Jo was to me.
