Mr. Billy Pearce, LVN received twenty-three DAISY nominations this quarter! He was recognized by patients, family members, nursing students, and staff members alike. One particular patient with both physical and emotional issues recognized Billy for his immediate and genuine concern and compassion towards him as a patient. The patient felt Billy's care aided him in his "total healing process," by meeting all his needs. The patient felt strongly that Billy needed to be recognized as an example to ALL staff on how to interact as a nurse with their patients. The highly complementary patient went on to write about how he never saw anything less than a smile on Billy's face.
