April 2026 Honoree
Bincy John
Let me share how wonderful Nurse Bincy J from the 3H Mother and Baby Unit was during my stay. I had experienced several challenges during my delivery and postpartum admission. Although Nurse Bincy was not assigned to me at that time, she remembered me from a previous admission related to my complicated pregnancy and came by simply to check on me.
When she noticed my assigned nurse was busy caring for other patients, she stepped in whenever she had free time to assist and support me, even though I was not her patient. Her kindness, patience, and dedication went beyond my expectations and left a lasting impact on me.
She even helped bathe my baby before discharge so I could rest and leave the hospital without worry.
During my stay, I experienced difficulties that had negatively affected my perception of my hospital experience, but Nurse Bincy completely changed that through her compassion and exceptional care. She truly demonstrated what nursing should be: dignity, love, and wholehearted care for patients.
Nurse Bincy is an incredible asset, and I am deeply grateful for everything she did for me and my family.
