I have been seeing Birgit for almost 18 months now and saw her for a year in 2015. Throughout that time, I've been continually impressed by her skill and compassion. She has shown genuine caring, above-and-beyond care, and interest in my greater life. She's explored every possible route to make my wounds heal easier. Day in and day out, month in month out, she has been here for me, delivering top-notch care. That she has stuck with me through such long-term and frustrating care means the most to me.
Birgit always makes sure (no matter how busy) to ask how I'm doing, if I have any questions or concerns, etc. There is no one story that stands out- instead, it's the 100s of appointments she's helped me through. I can't adequately express how grateful I am and how much she exemplifies the qualities of a DAISY Award Nurse. Thank you!
