Blair Moore, RN

One nurse sticks out to me and for reasons I can’t put into words that would honor her charisma. This wonderful, kindhearted, and compassionate person is Blair. Blair goes well above the usual nurse “duties” while creating a soothing environment. Her individual emotions are held with grace, honor, and a nurturing spirit. She made me feel like we were family and that felt so good in a devastating circumstance. I felt her emotions by looking into her eyes whether they were bright and cheerful following the good news we received or full of tears following the bad news we received. In today’s healthcare environment, some are more interested in completing their task, pecking buttons on their computer, and then going on to their next task. Thankfully Blair and her co-workers treated us like family and not just a number. I am thankful to have met her and have her care for my husband. She has found her true calling not only as an ICU Nurse but as a magnificent and first-class human being.
