I didn't know where to start. Honestly, if I didn't have Blair's help, I do not know what I would have done.
I was feeling off and checked my sugar at work. It was 500! Naturally being a healthy young woman with no diabetic history and no health problems, I was freaked out. I went to the ED and that lead me on a journey to see an internal medicine doc as well as an endocrinologist. I ended up having LADA and I had no idea where to start.
Blair contacted me the very next morning when I got out of the ED and basically has been my lifeline ever since. She guided me through the first couple of weeks when I felt so lost. I didn't know where to start. Honestly, if I didn't have her help, I do not know what I would have done. She truly saved me. I know nursing can be a thankless job, so I wanted to give her a shout-out to let her know that she really affected me and the way I have handled this new disease. There is something so important that she provided to me that the doctors just could not. She is amazing.
