Blake is being recogonized for her exceptional care and compassion during my wife's stay in the CSICU. During a time of immense difficulty and pain, as my wife was facing stage four cancer and a life-threatening lung and blood infection, Blake stood out as an extraordinary nurse whose impact I will never forget.

Blake's presence made an overwhelming situation more bearable. She not only demonstrated incredible medical knowledge and expertise, but also an unparalleled kindness and tenderness. She advocated for my wife's needs with compassion, always ensuring that both of us felt heard, respected, and cared for during our most vulnerable moments.

Blake went above and beyond by including me in my wife's care, never making me feel like I was in the way. She allowed me to assist in any way I could, which brought me comfort as I stayed by my wife's side. One of the most touching moments was when Blake took the time to visit my wife, paint her nails, wash and comb her hair, and pamper her in a way that brought a bright smile to her face. That moment, in the midst of our pain, brought me tears of joy, and I will always be grateful for Blake's ability to bring happiness and dignity to my wife even in her final days.
