Blake is one fantastic nurse. My mom was on home care after being diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. I asked for a nurse who worked with cancer patients and Blake called to say he was coming to see my mom the next day. I wondered how my mom was going to feel about a male nurse. The first thing Blake did was sit with my mom for about 10 minutes. I left them alone so they could talk. After he left, I asked my mom how it went, and she said I want him every week!!! She said he is going to be my little soldier. I asked why? She said he took the time and listened to me. Blake visited her until she went to Heaven. He went beyond what his job was about. He always sat with mom as soon as he came and listened to her and answered any concerns she had. Every time Blake left, she had a smile on her face and said that's my little soldier. When time got closer, he came to me and my mom and said I think it's time for hospice. And told me that he would probably go to be days now. I trusted him and he was right. The day before my mom's passing, Blake came in and just sat with my mom. My mom cried said, "you are my little soldier" and that she was thankful that he was in her life. My mom couldn't have thanked him enough. I cannot thank Blake enough for being so caring, thoughtful, and considerate. Blake helped my mom go to Heaven in peace and is a true DAISY Nurse!!!
