Blal Elsayed, BSN, RN

My mother was a patient on the 4th floor as a result of a fall with multiple fractures. Clearly in pain from her injuries and afraid of what would come next, Nurse Blal was exceptional. His bedside manner, professionalism, and genuine concern for his patient reflected positively on my mother. Her stress levels decreased, and she was more at ease. Nurse Blal made sure my mother was not in pain, not cold, and clearly and patiently answered all her questions. Nurse Blal was concerned if my mother was hungry or thirsty. He moved quickly but patiently while doing his work, all the while concerned with my mother’s comfort. Nurse Blal is a caring practitioner who is an asset to any institution. Luckily, he works here at NYU!
