Blerina Adhamidhi, RN

I didn't expect to be back to you Umass so soon having been released from UMass one month ago with a diagnosis of RPF. My treatment plan has been on an outpatient basis, but several recurring symptoms brought me back to the ER. Here is my story about this wonderful human being, Blerina. Recognizing her as Albanian I connected with her in her native language. She provided me with an unprecedented level of care as the eyes and ears of the doctors. She continued to ask detailed questions and documented the smallest of changes. When I became emotional (a byproduct of the Prednisone) she comforted me. She was there with kindness and compassion each moment of the day. I felt like she treated me as a whole person, not my symptoms. I would recommend UMass Memorial Medical Center to anyone and everyone I know based on the care I received from Blerina. Thank you.
