Bo McCain, ASN, RN

Just hours after my surgery a rapid response was called on me. I noticed Bo was one of the first nurses to arrive and was extremely calm and focused. I had several people trying to get an IV started, he was able to get the IV and continued to be calm and focused. This helped me be calm and I focused on him and what he was doing. I was extremely impressed with his perseverance and compassion. After he put the IV in, he patted my hand which was very reassuring. I have worked on this floor before with the helping hands program and had seen him work before, but never truly paid attention to what he was doing because I was doing my work. He seems very humble at such a young age, and it was very nice to have such driven people in a definite time of need. Much appreciation.
