In a difficult situation, Bo was compassionate and wanted the patient's family to know what was going on, always keeping his focus on them. He sat with the mother of the patient and talked back and forth from the room to the waiting room to keep them updated. He was a great patient advocate and supported the family's difficult decision while allowing them the time alone to make a decision they were at peace with. He sat with the family and listened to them talk about the patient and what she was like. He helped hold the phone to the patient's ear so her family member could say goodbye. Bo printed the patient's last heart rhythm strip for the family to keep after the patient passed away. He was always thinking about the patient's family's needs. Throughout the event, Bo also checked in with the other staff members to be sure they were doing okay throughout the difficult situation.
