Bobbi McCarthy, DNP, MSN, RN
Throughout my education, I have witnessed effective teaching. Professors deliver instruction and students learn. However, to encounter a teacher who has a "gift" of teaching - the ability to light up a classroom with inspiration - is rare.
Dr. McCarthy, teaches an academically diverse group of students with varying skill level. Dr. McCarthy has the ability to connect and communicate using a student-centered approach that fosters creativity, expression, leadership, and growth.
The UMA accelerated BSN program is not easy nor is the traditional BSN program, Dr. McCarthy's teaching allows the student to gain confidence along with a sense of teamwork. In turn, the students believe in themselves, and this produces results, produces good nurses.
Dr. McCarthy is a true inspiration as she lives the words she speaks. She sets that example for us. It is a pleasure and honor to be her student.
