Bobbie Graves, RN

Bobbie Graves took care of me on the evening shift after I had been extubated from a ventilator and was regaining consciousness. Bobbie practices nursing as I do in my own practice, with sarcasm, honesty, and a reality that patients deserve in order to make informed decisions. She made my spouse and me laugh uncontrollably in a very dark moment for us and turned it into light.

I was very embarrassed about my circumstances regarding an unintentional overdose, but Bobbie never once judged my situation. Instead, she listened to me, understood my side, and provided a safe space for me to recover in.
Bobbie is the type of person and nurse that I strive to be. She leads by example. I will take a part of what she taught me through my recovery into my practice and with my patients, who trust me to be as vulnerable and empathetic with them as Bobbie was with me.
