Bobby Bickler lives our service standards every day that he comes to work! As a leader of the department, I round on a regular basis, and it is without fail that I hear about this nurse all the time and what an amazing person he is. The staff and the patients as well always recognize what an amazing nurse he is. Here is a sample of what I heard about this nurse from one of his patients:
He came in and congratulated me after everything was over and I had my beautiful baby! I thanked him for being my coach, mentor, and a hand to hold when I needed it the most. I did not realize at the time the impact he had, not only on my birth story but also my life! He recognized that I was panicking, holding my shoulders, looking into my eyes, and breathing with me; he helped me. I will never forget the strength that he gave me! He needs to be recognized for his kindness, patience, and commitment to caring and nursing.

Another patient told me today that everyone was wonderful, but I also needed to recognize this nurse! She had a baby with us 14 months ago and he was her nurse. She told me that Bobby was the most calming presence, and he helped her through one of the most precious moments of her life! She said that she will never forget him!

These are just a couple of samples of what we hear all the time about this nurse. He goes above and beyond every day, with no exceptions! We are so fortunate to have him and even made bracelets that read "WWBD", (what would Bobby do!")
