Bobby consistently supports staff, patients, and visitors. He is always available to offer kindness and compassion to all of our patients and visitors. He tirelessly comes to the aid of staff members with a calm, knowledgeable demeanor. He has purchased medications for visitors who have been unable to leave their loved ones in the ICU. He is my hero. This is how all of the night shift team members feel about Bobby. As a charge nurse, Bobby brings calmness to chaos. He always makes the night shift team feel supported and constantly helps his team members when they need a hand. Bobby always does whatever needs to be done to meet the needs of his team members, our patients, and our patient's families. Bobby is also highly knowledgeable and skilled, and he makes himself available as a resource to his fellow team members. Bobby is able to bring peace and reassurance to patients and families that may be scared or concerned about being in the ICU and all that is involved with a critical illness. Bobby is truly kind and generous. Once, the father of a patient did not have any way to get home. His wife, the patient's mother, was having hemodialysis, so she could not come to pick him up. Bobby paid for an Uber for this gentleman out of his own pocket.
