Bobby Robinson is a long-standing critical care nurse and has been with Seton for many years. One thing that I've noticed about Bobby is his patient advocacy. You can usually find him educating a Resident MD about what really needs to happen for his patients and the best way to get that done. Bobby is an asset to our UMCB ICU team. I commend Bobby for his dedication and going above and beyond to protect and promote patient safety. Bobby had a patient who is a diabetic - insulin overdose and was suffering ongoing low blood sugars. Bobby ordered a special diet food tray for the patient and tried for a very long time to get the food delivered. After numerous attempts, Bobby went and bought the patient food in the cafeteria with his own money.
