Bobette Moseley consistently demonstrates all the characteristics for earning this distinguished award. She is the clinical flow coordinator on her team. She supports her fellow nurses, she's right in there being proactive and involved in the care of the patient. She exemplifies extraordinary compassion and sensitivity toward others. At approximately 9pm one evening, I was paged to the hospital to take care of an emergent cardiac patient. What tremendous joy it brought me when I walked around the corner to see Bobette preparing the patient to be transferred to the Cardiac Cath Lab. Bobette was right there at the patient's bedside preparing him for a safe and expedient transfer. Bobette reassured the patient and his wife of the events that would soon occur. Her presence in the patient's room brought a sense of calmness to the patient, his wife, me and the other emergency room nurses that were assisting. Bobette demonstrated compassionate communication as she gave me report about this patient.
