Boby’s journey as a nurse is both inspiring and impactful. Originally trained in India, he worked in Kuwait's Ministry of Health before moving to the U.S. in 2006. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Boby currently serves as a nephrology nurse at the Phoenix VA Health Care System, where his leadership and advocacy have left a lasting impression on his colleagues and patients alike.
With over 30 years of nursing experience, including his recent focus in nephrology, Boby has become a passionate advocate for health equity. His contributions include organizing DEI training for his colleagues, advocating for diverse hiring practices, and implementing targeted health education programs for underserved populations. Boby’s commitment to addressing social determinants of health has had a significant impact on his patients, improving their access to care and overall well-being.
