This particular visit with Parkland was an encounter that made all the difference for me with patient experience. Being a cancer patient with Parkland for three years now, I have had a wonderful handful of nurses to provide the care that keeps me loyal as a Parkland patient, and Bola definitely aided in that. Guiding me through my pain management and giving me the knowledge I needed to understand the medicine was a comfort I needed to get through that tough night.

Her empathy through conversation and attentiveness to my situation was felt and assured me that I was in good hands under her care. Bola has set a standard for me in good nursing. I hope other patients will have the experience I've had with my care team particularly Bola, and I know that they aren't another sick body in a bed but a fellow human in need. Thank you Bola!
