My mother was brought into the hospital due to a fall in her yard breaking her right hip and right shoulder. She is 97 years old. She fell on a Saturday, and I was not with her in the ER as we were out of town and another close family member stayed with her. Her comments about her ER experience were positive by the way! Since I’ve arrived Sunday evening, I’ve found the nurses and staff to be very responsive and professional when dealing with my mother and the family!

One nurse who stood out in caring for my mother was Bonni who was on duty Monday and Tuesday during the day shift. Bonni was consistently kind, caring, professional, and responsive to my mother and her needs. Although Monday was a good day for my mother and she seemed to be relatively free from extreme pain, Tuesday was not. She was in considerable pain and suffered much discomfort. Bonni worked closely with her to help her. She was consistently patient and positive and kindly responsive. I spent most of the day both Monday and Tuesday, therefore; I was there to observe. I nominate Bonni as an extraordinary nurse!  Thank you, Bonni!!
