When I came in to the hospital, I was dying. God put me with this wonderful nurse named Bonnie. She fought for me and made me not give up! I was very sick. Then I was told I couldn't eat for a month, and this only made things worse, but with Bonnie's sweet stern way she convinced me to not give up. She even worked one of her days off, and came to visit me when they moved me to the 2nd and 4th floor over the weekend. Bonnie is the best. Bonnie is one of God's Angels. She held my hand when I was afraid.

The patient was very sick. Doctors didn't know if she would survive. The surgeons were afraid to operate and without surgery she would continue to have a gaping hole in her stomach with a fistula that had stool continuously coming out. She was scared, depressed and very emotional. She and Bonnie formed a special bond. Bonnie is sweet, loving, and goes above and beyond. We are lucky to have her as part of our team.
