Bonnie Hervieux-Woodbury, BSN, RN-C

Bonnie Hervieux-Woodbury devoted her life's work to the compassionate care of others. Bonnie joined the Gifford family in 1989 and transitioned from staff nurse to Nurse Manager of the Birthing Center in 2002. Under her leadership, the Birthing Center at Gifford Medical Center evolved into a center of excellence in New England. Bonnie's commitment and dedication to quality care and a supportive birthing experience were unmatched. She tirelessly supported her team, mothers, babies, and families, showing up at all hours of the day, night, and weekend-whenever there was a need. Her wide knowledge base and skill set ensured that best practice drove care and outcomes. Bonnie made sure that the wishes and needs of her team and patients were always met until her unexpected passing in November 2021. Bonnie set the framework for compassionate care at Gifford and she will be deeply missed.
