My mother coded twice and required intubation and sedation overnight. The next morning, Bonnie stayed by her bedside speaking to her of relaxation techniques as she was weaned to CPAP and to eventual extubation. My mother awakened from sedation and was very scared; I could see it in her eyes.
Bonnie spent the full half-hour to 45 minutes that it took to ready her for extubation, constantly reminding her to breathe slowly and deeply. I believe Bonnie went above and beyond her regular duties to be the compassionate, caring nurse the patients deserve.

My father-in-law was taken off life support. Bonnie truly helped our family get through this difficult time. She is very professional. She kept to HIPPA privacy standards when communicating with the family. She took great care of my father-in-law, my husband, and myself through the most difficult decision we had to make. She was supportive, strong, and most of all grateful!
