Bonnie Mynahan, RN

Bonnie was nominated by a family member of a patient who passed in the MO ICU. The family was unable to visit but was given a “light in their nurse Bonnie.” They described the compassionate care provided to their family member and to the entire family. The caring way that she timed video calls with the family demonstrated not only clinical expertise, but also the “heart” of a Franciscan nurse. The nomination concluded with this powerful statement about how important Bonnie made the family feel, “She made me feel as if I was part of his care even though I couldn’t be there.” The light you shared with this patient and family makes us all proud to be part of Franciscan Health—thank you, Bonnie.
