Bonnie wasn’t just “Johnny on the spot”, but Johnny before the spot. Bonnie’s shift started, and she was so attentive. Bonnie started with his needs, got updates on his health, straightened up the O2 lines that were all over the place, straightened up his bedding that was also a tangled mess, and got him fresh linens. Bonnie made sure he was more comfortable by repositioning him. But most of all you could feel her genuine care and drive to give her utmost as a professional. Bonnie continued faithfully with her nursing throughout the night into the morning, finishing up with total attention even when the next shift was transitioning over. Lourdes has become our hospital of choice mainly because the ER wait time is quicker than the other nearby hospital. Accolades to Bonnie and to you all for employing her. Bonnie is setting the standard for what a nurse should be.
