Bora was compassionate and very delicate with my aching heart.
My mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer in 2018. After fighting for five years, she lost the battle and went to be with the Lord in December of 2022. My world shattered -- she was my best friend, my secret partner, and my hero. The week of her funeral, I was alone at the breast clinic getting a biopsy done for a lump I had for a while. Even though it was benign, I wanted to stay on top of things. It was emotional -- I cried on my way to and from my appointment. I got home, wiped my tears, and put on a happy face because I was "supposed to be strong for my kids". Fast forward, I had a lumpectomy done to get rid of the fibroadenomas in October. The lumps were on the same breast as my mom. It might have been a simple procedure, but my heart was aching. I needed my mother! Then I met an amazing nurse in recovery. Bora Eo was compassionate and very delicate with my aching heart. Her voice was soothing. I presumed that I would have been a nervous wreck in recovery but, to my surprise, everyone told me I was calm and sweet. Bora made what could have been a crazy day peaceful and relaxing.
