At a time when a visit to a hospital is a series of quick, impersonal visits from an endless rotation of faces, I'd like to recognize one extraordinary member of the staff. Brad was one of the head nurses caring for my 83-year-old mother, suffering from a heart attack. One thing that immediately caught my attention about Brad was his tender and gentle demeanor with my mom. He was sensitive to her special needs and put her at ease.
Brad was also extremely knowledgeable and spent time explaining to mom and me about her medications and the procedures she experienced. Brad not only took care of her medical needs but was also aware of her emotional concerns (and mine!) and addressed both. He went far above and beyond our expectations and was a real comfort to us both. We both felt we have a friend that genuinely cares about our needs. Please recognize this exceptional young nurse for his contribution to our stay.
