Braden McMahon, RN

I had the pleasure of working with Braden on the Stepdown unit at Macomb. I typically work Swat but was pulled into staffing with an orientee. I had one very sick patient that had a trach/vent on a BP drip. My other patients were very busy also. Without even asking me if I needed help, (it was very obvious that I was drowning), he jumped right in to assist me and the patient. Several times throughout the night, the patient’s blood pressure tanked and every time I went racing back there to check on her, he was already there assisting. If it wasn’t for his phenomenal teamwork, I would have been there 16 hours instead of 12. He has a great attitude and is a very skilled nurse.
