Braden Rabbitt, LPN
As soon as I arrived in my room from the ER, Braden Rabbitt was very welcoming and helpful. My family had my newborn baby with us, and she was crying, so as my family assisted me, Braden asked permission to get my baby out of her car seat and soothe her.
Throughout my stay, I had anxiety issues that almost caused me to abort some procedures, such as a CT-guided drainage. Braden sat, talked, and breathed me through the procedure and kept me calm.
When I was in my room crying from being alone, depressed, and away from my newborn, Braden sat with me and talked me through the episode I was having. She made me feel like she really cared about me and my feelings. She kept me informed of everything I was going through, what medications I was being given, what they were for, and what procedures were scheduled and how they would go. If it were not for Braden, I believe my stay would have been longer, more depressing for me, and I would not have gotten some of the procedures that were needed to assess the issues I was having.
