Bradley was my day nurse during the second day of my admission at Duke. He was extremely kind and made my husband and me feel a lot less anxious and stressed during our stay. I was not feeling very well this day, and he advocated for me multiple times to my provider to try to help me get some relief. He spent time getting to know my husband and me, made us laugh, and just brought us a sense of comfort we desperately needed.

He even helped me mix and flavor my oatmeal when I didn’t have the strength or desire to eat, and he gave me some of his trail mix for a snack to help me get some more calories in. Bradley even came and checked on me two days later when he wasn’t assigned as my nurse, just because he’s a nice human and wanted to see how I was doing (and if I wanted more trail mix lol). I have had many nurses care for me in my 25 years of life, and Bradley was easily one of the best.

Thank you, Bradley, for helping me feel better, and we hope you have an amazing wedding in February!

Thank you, Bradley, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
