Our 5-year-old daughter, spent 7 nights in the hospital with complications for a ruptured appendix. It was a painful and emotionally trying ordeal for her (and her parents). While there were so many kind and attendant nurses during our stay, we found Brady to be particularly exceptional. He cared for her during three-night shifts, and was, of course, competent with his duties, but was also cheerful and willing to go above and beyond, at his own initiative. For instance, the simple luxury of offering to bring me a cup of tea in the morning or going out of his way to fashion a shoebox “nest” when my daughter came back with a magical “egg” (rock) from the healing garden that she said would soon hatch. Brady is a holistic healer, who attends not just to the body but to the whole being. And he also has ninja skills – if he wasn’t a night nurse, he’d be an excellent cat burglar. Thank you, Brady!
