In the wee hours of the morning, I arrived at the Bellin Health Emergency Room (ER) with my daughter O. We were greeted by Brady and she started a conversation with O. O felt so comfortable with Brady, she was able to tell her what was going on at just four-years-old. Brady and the doctor were absolutely amazing, caring, compassionate, and understanding of our situation. Brady brought in medications and she explained to O what the medications were for in a way that O was able to understand! When O was done with all of her testing, Brady came in and asked her what her favorite animal was and said that she would go look in her toy wagon to see what she could do. Brady brought in three different farm animals and made a little girls' day. Brady made a scary situation into a not-so-scary situation for a little girl. Brady deserves this nomination because in my eyes she went above and beyond. O even named her sweet little horse, Brady, after her amazing ER nurse. Thank you!
