Brandee has been such an integral part of the success of our night shift. She has stuck with our team through thick and thin and serves as a strong foundation for our night shift staff. She leads with positivity and a “can do” attitude at all times. She has welcomed and trained the most diverse team our hospital has ever employed, helping to make the international Traveler program a huge success for us.

In addition to leading the team, Brandee is frequently recognized by patients as someone who is kind and compassionate. She fully embraces the concept that everyone is “our patient” and offers whatever assistance is needed in the delivery of care. During leader rounding, I often hear that Brandee is welcoming and helps patients feel comfortable with being admitted for psychiatric care. She is open and honest with patients and families and will always make time for someone who needs a listening ear. Brandee has grown from a new graduate and novice nurse to an expert in psychiatric care. I am grateful for her presence and her leadership.
