Brandee Wornhoff, Clinical Nurse Specialist at Hendricks Regional Health, taught the importance of the spheres of influence and how the role of the Clinical Nurse Specialist is so important in establishing a great environment not only for patients and families, but also for nurses, providers, and other interdisciplinary team members. She was my voice of reason when I was frustrated and always provided a rationale for how each event in life is meaningful. At the end of each day we finished with things I learned and discussed how they could be used in my future practice. Each day, I recognize myself identifying with processes, thoughts, and actions that Brandee taught me throughout our time together. I will be forever grateful for the time and effort she put into my development as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
