My dad suffered a stroke and was flown to St. Mary's from Montrose. Brandi's knowledge, skills and pure compassion for her patients (and their families) is beyond measure. The unknown regarding a stroke and its many possible complications is such a difficult time and Brandi's patience and family education were so important to us. Her sense of humor (telling my dad he wasn't allowed to choke, fall or stop breathing on her shift) really put dad and us at ease. Her quick action to call the doctor when my dad had Neuro changes alerted us to some swelling in his brain. He's in great hands with her as his nurse.
