Brandi Brassard, RN

Brandi is very quick to respond when called. She’s cheerful, which relieves the stress of the patient and family. She’s positive and encouraging, she never gives a feeling of being rushed. She’s compassionate; really relates to the patients, talks to them on their level - reads people, and knows how to make them feel at ease. She always has time to explain what she’s doing, yet is very efficient.

My husband, the patient, says, "She has a seriously positive attitude. She doesn’t take no for an answer but in a nice way." When Brandi suggested a shower, my husband went from "No way," to sitting in the shower. He didn’t think he could walk from the bed to the bathroom. When he was settled back in bed, he was so encouraged that he had done what he didn’t think he could do. This was the point when he believed he really could get better - he had been discouraged and ready to give up. Thank you, Brandi!
