Brandi is one of the most caring and compassionate nurses I have ever met. She is always upbeat and happy. She cares for her patients with her whole heart. She always advocates for her patients.
For instance, when she was caring for a patient who was dying and on comfort measures, she recognized he was not appropriately comfortable with his ordered medications. Brandi couldn't get the physicians to order the appropriate medications and she became tearful that the patient was not comfortable and that was how the family would remember him.
She spoke out and received the appropriate care for the patient from another physician. She not only cares for her patients but also for their families. This is only one example. Brandi is also extremely helpful to her co-workers and always lends a helping hand and has the knowledge to share. We are lucky to work alongside one of the best nurses.
