I am writing to nominate Brandi for a DAISY Nursing Award to recognize her exceptional care, compassion, skill, and dedication to my mom during her hospitalization.
Brandi was the right person at the right time for our family. She went above and beyond to connect with us and understand our concerns. She took the time to listen to our questions and patiently explained things to us. She made sure we were informed and involved in my mom's care every step of the way.
During a time of uncertainty, Brandi was a fierce advocate for my mom. She worked tirelessly to bring the right members of the care team together to make an informed and difficult decision to have a reoperation. She guided us through this process with compassion, empathy, and expertise. Her ability to balance professionalism with a personal touch was remarkable and made all the difference to our family.
Brandi’s compassion and advocacy should be recognized as exceptional. Her light shone through in all she did and helped us through a tough time in our lives. She truly made a difference, and we will be forever grateful for her care.
