Where to begin with Brandi… she is kind, smart, compassionate, and the perfect patient advocate. She comes into work every day and does everything she can in her power to provide the best possible care to her patients. I remember one shift she came in and had a patient who was not doing too well, she notified through chain of command and did not get the answers she wanted. Her patient, in her eyes, was in need of more. She stepped out of her comfort zone to advocate for her patient and confront some care team members who may be considered intimidating for a new nurse. No matter her assignment or how hard her day gets, she always wears a smile on her face and takes each obstacle with grace.
