I have been in and out of the hospital quite a bit since July. I have to say the staff on the fourth floor has become a second family to me. Brandi has been a constant caretaker and friend to me. She pops in to say hello even if she doesn't have me as a patient that day. She has a smile for me on hard days when I can't find a smile myself.
This last time I was here no one could figure out what was wrong with me. Brandi had a hunch to test me for C.diff which was not necessarily on the radar for me and that was what my problem was. It was strange to be excited to have that as I became an instant biohazard. Brandi was so excited to finally have an answer; she was practically jumping for joy. We finally knew what was wrong with me, it was great! She was so happy she would be able to effectively help me. It was sincere caring.
This was a small victory in a series of battles for me to restore my health. She made me realize I was not alone in this. I am so grateful!
