Brandi could tell I was suffering. I was in tears from emotional pain as well as anxiety. Not only did Brandi share tears of her own with me, she openly offered me compassion and understanding. Even more, Brandi courageously opened up to me and shared a personal story of her own healing journey. Not only did I feel fully understood and unjudged, but I felt comforted and empowered by Brandi’s words and actions. She encouraged me to “be the good” and resolve to live a life of healing - not just for myself but for the healing of others too. We cried. We hugged. We connected as humans. I am recognizing Brandi for the compassionate care she freely offered as help to assist me in my own growth. Thank you!
