Brandi Mobley, CARE XIX

Brandi always has a positive attitude in clinical and looks for any opportunity to participate, learn, and care for patients. A patient was admitted for a scheduled C/Section and was extremely anxious. There was no one with this patient through the procedure or after and Brandi established a caring relationship with this patient during the recovery process. The patient asked Brandi to stay with her until she was moved to her room and Brandi readily agreed. Brandi sat with this patient in recovery, talked to her, provided ice chips and liquids, and alleviated her anxiety. She is a shining example of what the DAISY Award embodies. I look forward to calling Brandi a colleague.
