Brandi Phinazee, RN

Brandi shows exceptional mentorship and compassion, not only to her patients but also to her colleagues. I'll never forget my very first ICU patient. I was overwhelmed and unsure, but Brandi was just one phone call away. She answered the phone right away and stayed on the phone with me the entire time, while I was having trouble operating the dialysis machine. Brandi also played a big role in training me to become a dialysis nurse, and I learned so much from her.

Whenever I struggled with cannulating a fistula, she was always there to help. One moment that truly stood out was when Brandi noticed a patient who was rapidly declining. Her quick thinking and clinical judgement played a crucial role in stabilizing the patient and bringing the patient back to her baseline. Brandi exemplifies what it means to be a nurse, skilled, selfless, and full of heart. She uplifts those around her and makes a lasting impact on everyone she works with.
