A close family member had a stroke in the last few months. Brandie helped take care of him with the stroke team at that time and was familiar with his situation. A couple of weekends ago, he began having stroke symptoms again and returned to the ER but was discharged after his workup seemed to be negative. As he continued to worsen, I made contact with Brandie, and she happily did everything she could to help us get him to the most appropriate care, all while she was off work.
