Brandie cared for a patient in liver failure who was quite upset and not committed to receiving treatment. Brandie bonded with him over their mutual love of Star Wars. She informed him of a new movie and a new theme park coming out, helping him find the motivation to continue the fight for a transplant. She was also able to organize a visit from the 501st Legion, a group of people who dress as Star War characters. It did wonders for his spirit and the staff's and he received his transplant shortly thereafter. It usually requires 3 months notice to organize a visit from this group but Brandie pulled it off in just 1 week! She is kind and compassionate and does whatever it takes to raise her patients' spirits.
