I have been in the Emergency Department with my mom on a couple of occasions. While all of the nurses have been wonderful, Brandie stood out. We were there for 5 hours before my mom was admitted and Brandie was exceptionally kind and informative the entire time. When a patient first comes in and there is a lot of activity, most nurses get caught up in that and it seems quite hectic. That was not the case with Brandie at all. Like a little fine-tuned machine, she was able to be sweet, compassionate (for both of us), organized, and professional without missing a beat. She explained everything she was doing and why with such a kind demeanor while diligently doing her job with obvious confidence. This young lady is the epitome of a DAISY Nurse and we were lucky to have met her.
